Lego Star Wars SDCC 2009 exclusive mini LAAT/c with AT-TE

This package arrived in the mail two days ago. It was from an eBay auction I won from a San Diego native who visited the ComicCon 2009 where this set was an exclusive release. Throughout the 5 days, visitors had to queue to pick a raffle that would entitle them to purchase a set at US$49.95 + tax. I was lucky to have won the auction without having to pay too much of a premium over the original price. This might have been due to the fact that the seller stated he was not willing to ship internationally (which limited the number of competing bidders) but he was finally persuaded when I had won the auction, told him about the inconvenience of using US forwarding addresses plus my good history of feedback on eBay.

The set contains a Brickmaster magazine and two exclusive sets. The AT-TE was already an existing Brickmaster exclusive whereas the Republic LAAT/c dropship was an exclusive only to this set. Basically these are mini-versions of the Lego Shop@Home exclusive 10195 set whose actual webpage featured the following blurb:

"Two incredible Star Wars™ vehicles in one! Flying through the skies of hostile planets, the Republic LAAT/c (Low Altitude Assault Transport/carrier) Dropship swoops down and deploys the AT-OT (All Terrain Open Transport) troop carrier for attacks on Separatist strongholds." In this case, the AT-OT is replaced with the AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) from the Lego 20009 Brickmaster exclusive set.

These fearsome vehicles were seen in Star Wars Ep II - Attack of the Clones. Truly awesome!
